Vous savez quelles différence il y a avec une F2 SX XL?
Je suis en quête d'une board de light et la fanatic me tente bien mais j'ai vu une belle promo pour une f2 de 2008.

the F2 xl '08 isn't a light wind board at all.Forget about!My buddy successfully used it with the 7,2 but wasn't as fast as he needed with the 9,0. If you have a good deal with F2 go straight for the xxl.Maybe the fastest on a straight line in light air and good planning attitude. Don't personally know the Falcon 140 but according with 767 states the board rocks. It dependes what are you searching for and what sail/fin are you gonna using. Even my Manta 79 is faster than the xl with the 9,0.... Now with the new 133 life's back in town!! |

la fanatic est une bombe de light comme les jp, avec un super départ planning, puis une très bonne vitesse. La F2 est plus typée medium que super light : le départ est planning est catastrophique, la planche collant à l'eau. |

En fait j'ai l'impression que globalement les planches avec des cut-outs genre X fire ou F2 ou autres sont plus des planches de medium-fort et les autres plus pour le light. Le truc quand on est lourd c'est que le depart au planing nous pénalise vachement. Je vais donc plutot m'orienter vers une board sans cut-outs je crois... |

ayant pesé jusqu'à 105 kg, je connais ce problème. J4AI une jp119 qui me permet de naviguer dans du light en 8.4 (mais qui accepte sans broncher 9.5), planche beaucoup plus porteuse que la f2 au final. Départ planning nickel, très bonne vitesse (34 noeuds en 8.4). J'ai pu comparer avec la falcon 145 (celle de 2007) et la xl 2008. Avantage confort : fanatic, planche douce (mais dans le petit temps peu de différence avec la jp ou la f2) départ planning : egalité jp et fanatic vmax : connaissant mieux la planche, avantage jp. Si tu cherches une planche pour le light pour gros, la jp est à vendre, MP |

les F2 partent moins bien au planning mais est-ce si important ? une fois lancé elles les gardent super bien et vont très vite avec beaucoup de confort. J'ai testé maintenant 2 fois ma 140 L Fanatic, c'est une super planche de light que je riderai avec 8.4 maxi. Bien sur elle est faite pour supporter 9.5 facilement, de quoi abraser dans le vent très léger ! Mes 1ers tests sont très positifs : vitesse égale à la 124 (+ petite de 3 cm en largeur) mais performances au cap et dans l'extra light supérieures. et confort en hausse. Je pense que ça va etre une des meilleures de sa catégorie cette année, son gros avantage étant une plage d'utilisation très large (performances dans le vent fort ayant l'air très très bonnes malgré 46 d'aileron !) Si tu as la tune prends toi une 140 Fanatic ! |

the new Falcon 140 was one of my options for light wind but then I've choosen the Isonics '09. All I can say is that the new 133 has made a good sail my Vapor 9,0 '08 and a Birdi 48 which didn't work at all with my Manta 79!! The board is impressive but I'm just waiting for some more session (even a good comparative one) before express my opinion about it. I'd like to say also that that every board on the market can be good but then it depends by what you have to do: if you like pure speed then you don't really need a fast planner board (even in light wind) so you can choose a big but fast on the straight line board; if you like racing you DO NEED a fast planner board and a great "accellerator" even if it's a bit slower (and it's very hard to figurate out!) or less comfortable. Other thing you have to consider as well is the fins in your quiver and the sail you wanna use the board with.... Both stuff will affect your board behaviour as you've never thought.... |
