I own a 79 and a buddy of the crew (lighter than me) sails a 85. I use my bord with a 9,0,he sails a 10 and,now,got a 8,3. In marginal wind he has some edge because of longer fin and bigger sail.When things get "regular" for slalom (12 kts) we are on par.He's one of the fastest guy over here so he menages to handle the board also in serious 16+ but there he gives up against me. He likes a lot its gybe. |
